Hardscape Installation
At TurfCare, Inc., we believe that hardscapes are a critical aspect of a practical and visually appealing yard. Among the hardscape products we install are decks, patios, walls and planters. Decks provide an excellent space for outdoor dining, leisure and relaxation. They give you an ideal area to host events, increase the value of your home, enhance your yards aesthetic appeal and give you some additional space to store grills, patio furniture and plants in a visually appealing way. Added benefits of decks are that they are slotted surfaces, meaning water can run through it into the ground under the deck. Plus, due to the material they are built with, decks typically don’t get too hot or too cold to walk on. This is important for us Charlottean’s, as the summer sun can be brutal, and walking on some surfaces burn to the touch.
Patios offer many benefits as well. The lifespan of patios are long if they are installed properly, lasting around two to three decades or longer. There is also a lot of flexibility if you decide you’d like to add to your patio, whether that is the actual area of the patio space or a fire-pit, pathway or water feature. Plus, if you want your patio to be raised a bit off the ground, you can add a wall to it.
Like mentioned before, one use of walls is for a raised patio. They create an elegant and extravagant feature to your home’s yard. Walls can be built on different levels, with plants, shrubs and flowers planted in them, enhancing the liveliness of your yard.
Planters are a great addition to your outdoor living space, as they create a portable home for your plants and flowers. They can help bring a pop of color to your outdoor living space.
